Drunk underage girl resists police officer in Alytus district
A 15-year-old girl was detained in Alytus district early Sunday after causing a public disturbance while heavily intoxicated and resisting a police officer, LRT reports.
The incident occurred in Krokialaukis, where police received reports of an underage female behaving erratically. According to authorities, the girl—born in 2011—was shouting and damaging vehicles. When officers attempted to detain her, she physically resisted an Alytus district police officer, who later required outpatient medical treatment.
A breathalyser test confirmed the minor’s blood alcohol level at 1.81‰. She has since been transferred to the custody of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service.
An investigation has been launched under Article 286 of the Criminal Code, which addresses resistance against public officials performing their duties.
