Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko will visit Lithuania next week for a joint cabinet meeting, the Baltic News Service (BNS) reported on Wednesday.
During her visit, Svyrydenko is scheduled to meet with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Parliament Speaker Juozas Olekas, and Prime Minister Ingrida Ruginienė on Monday. The programme includes a one-on-one meeting between Svyrydenko and Ruginienė, followed by a joint session of the Lithuanian and Ukrainian governments.
According to Ignas Dobrovolskas, an advisor to the Lithuanian prime minister, discussions will focus on bilateral cooperation, support for Ukraine, European security issues, and Ukraine’s experiences in strengthening national resilience and crisis preparedness.
Svyrydenko was appointed Ukraine’s prime minister in July last year. This will be her first official visit to Lithuania.
