Lithuania to see calming winds and gradual return of warmer weather

Lithuania’s temperatures will climb steadily over the coming days as winds ease, though brief showers and isolated thunderstorms remain possible, the country’s Hydrometeorological Service told public broadcaster LRT on Wednesday.

Thursday will bring partly cloudy skies with scattered short-lived rain and potential thunder in some areas. Winds of 9–14 m/s will persist, with highs reaching 13–18°C.

Friday’s forecast includes brief rain showers and north-northwesterly winds of 8–13 m/s. Nighttime lows will hover around 4–9°C, while daytime temperatures rise to 15–20°C.

By Saturday, conditions will dry out with no significant rainfall expected. Winds will moderate to 5–10 m/s, with overnight temperatures between 4–9°C and daytime highs of 17–22°C.
