Lithuania to see temperatures of 24°C but little rain forecast

Lithuania will experience warm weather with temperatures reaching up to 24°C this weekend, though only brief showers are expected, according to the country’s hydrometeorological service.

Speaking to LRT Radio, forecaster Janas Voitkevičius said Thursday will bring cloudy skies in the east and clearer conditions in the west, with highs of 23°C. Overnight into Friday, temperatures will drop to 7–12°C, with light rain and winds strengthening to 8–12 m/s. Daytime highs on Friday will reach 16–21°C.

Saturday will see scattered showers and lighter winds, with overnight lows of 6–11°C and daytime highs of 18–23°C. Sunday will bring brief rain in many regions, stronger winds of 8–13 m/s, and temperatures ranging from 8–13°C at night to 19–24°C during the day.
