Window cleaner dies in Vilnius after falling from building

A 27-year-old window cleaner died in Vilnius on Saturday after falling from a building on Švitrigailos Street, police reported.

The man, born in 1999, was believed to have been cleaning exterior windows when the accident occurred. He was rushed to hospital but died approximately three hours later.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into potential violations of workplace safety and health regulations.
