Warmer spring weather has arrived in Lithuania, with temperatures expected to climb as high as 22°C in some regions, according to the country’s public broadcaster LRT.

The Hydrometeorological Service forecasts partly cloudy skies on Friday, with occasional showers—particularly in western areas—and possible thunderstorms. Winds will be moderate, blowing from the east. While most of the country will see temperatures between 17°C and 22°C, the Curonian Spit will remain cooler at 14–16°C.

Over the weekend, rain will persist, with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely on Saturday. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 5–10°C, while daytime highs will range from 16–21°C, though western coastal areas will stay cooler at 12–15°C. Sunday will bring more sunshine, with temperatures varying between 12–17°C in the west and a warmer 18–23°C in eastern regions.

The unsettled weather is expected to continue into Monday, with further rain possible and persistent temperature contrasts between the eastern and western parts of the country.
