The Lithuanian armed forces have taken delivery of new heavy transport trucks and fuel tankers valued at around €6 million, the country’s Ministry of National Defence announced on Monday.

According to the ministry, the fleet now includes Mercedes-Benz Arocs trucks designed for transporting containers and flatbed loads, procured under a €3.7 million contract. Additionally, Renault K fuel tankers, purchased for approximately €2.3 million, will supply aviation fuel to Lithuania’s fighter jet squadron.
