Lithuania to see scattered showers and temperatures up to 20°C
Scattered showers and temperatures reaching 20°C are forecast across much of Lithuania on Tuesday, according to the country’s hydrometeorological service.
Simona Dalinkevičiūtė, a synoptist at Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service, told national broadcaster LRT that brief rain showers—accompanied by thunder in some areas—are expected in many regions, particularly in the south and southeast. Western Lithuania will see heavier cloud cover, while eastern areas may experience more sunshine.
Daytime temperatures will range between 15–20°C in most regions, though western areas, including coastal zones, will see cooler conditions of 10–14°C. Winds will be moderate and variable in direction.
On Wednesday, overnight temperatures will drop to 4–9°C, with patchy rain continuing. Low clouds are expected to prevent frost. Daytime highs will fall to 10–15°C, with persistent moderate westerly winds.
