Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s administration, is visiting Lithuania on Monday, according to the 15min news portal.

Citing unnamed sources, the outlet reports that Budanov is scheduled to meet with officials at the presidential office and other government institutions, as well as defence and security experts during his trip.

Budanov, a former military intelligence chief, was appointed to lead Zelensky’s administration in early 2026, replacing Andriy Yermak, who was dismissed in November 2025 amid a corruption scandal. From 2020 until his current role, Budanov headed Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate under the defence ministry. He has been linked to several high-profile operations, including the 2022 explosion on the Crimean Bridge constructed by Russia.
