Druskininkai police officer caught driving under the influence

A police officer from the Druskininkai commissariat was stopped for driving while intoxicated in Lazdijai district, facing potential administrative penalties, LRT reports.
According to the Police Department, the officer—a 1991-born male—was driving a private Volkswagen Phaeton on Sunday at 14:46 in Veisiejai when he was pulled over. A breathalyser test recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.46‰, exceeding the legal limit.
The officer, who was off-duty at the time, was issued an administrative violation report for drunk driving.
