A brief spell of summer-like warmth will hit Lithuania on Sunday, with temperatures potentially reaching 28°C in some areas, though the heat will not last, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Elena Kliukina, a forecaster with the service, told LRT Radio that temperatures on Sunday will range between 21–26°C, with some regions seeing peaks of 28°C. However, thunderstorms are likely after noon, particularly in western and northern Lithuania, while southern and eastern areas will remain dry. Light rain may also occur overnight into Monday.

The start of the week will remain warm, with daytime highs of 21–26°C inland and 15–20°C along the coast. But from Tuesday, a noticeable shift is expected—temperatures will gradually drop to 18–21°C, accompanied by stronger winds and scattered showers across most regions.
