Sunny and warm weekend ahead with temperatures reaching 25°C

Lithuania will see sunny and warm weather this weekend, with temperatures climbing to 25°C, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological Service.

Forecaster Janas Vaitkevičius told national broadcaster LRT that Saturday will bring clear skies and moderate winds, with daytime highs of 20–25°C across most of the country. Coastal areas in the west will be cooler, at 14–19°C, due to maritime influence.

Sunday will remain mostly dry, though brief showers may occur in northern regions. Winds will stay moderate at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime lows will range from 5–10°C, while daytime temperatures will peak at 21–26°C inland and 15–20°C near the coast. The highest temperatures are expected in southern Lithuania, particularly in Druskininkai.
