Cooler conditions on Thursday will soon give way to significantly warmer weather, with weekend temperatures expected to reach 24°C, according to Vytautas Patašius, a synoptics specialist at Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT.

Thursday will remain mostly dry, with only the northeastern regions seeing light rain. Daytime highs will range from 6°C to 11°C. Overnight into Friday, scattered frost is possible, particularly on ground surfaces, with lows between 0°C and 5°C. By Friday afternoon, temperatures will climb to 14–19°C inland and 11–13°C along the coast, under moderate westerly winds.

The warming trend continues into the weekend. Saturday will bring mostly dry conditions with light winds, overnight lows of 2–7°C, and daytime highs of 17–21°C inland (12–15°C on the coast). Sunday night will see temperatures between 5–10°C, with ground frost possible in places, before rising to 19–24°C during the day.

The warm spell is forecast to extend into early next week, with Monday’s temperatures potentially peaking at 25°C, though brief showers may occur in some areas.
