Deer trapped in metal fence in central Vilnius

A young female deer became trapped in a metal fence in central Vilnius early Wednesday morning, according to Lithuania’s public broadcaster LRT.

The Emergency Response Centre received the first report at 6:50 AM about a deer caught in the fence of a residential courtyard on Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis Street. Seven additional calls followed, prompting environmental officers to respond to the scene.
