Man suspected of murder after body found in Kėdainiai apartment

A man has been detained on suspicion of murder after the body of another man was discovered in an apartment in the Lithuanian city of Kėdainiai, police reported on Tuesday.

The victim, born in 1975, was found with injuries inside a residence on Šėtos Street. Authorities have launched a pre-trial investigation into the incident.

A 1996-born male suspect was taken into custody and placed in a detention facility. Police confirmed he was intoxicated, registering a blood alcohol level of 1.42 per mille at the time of arrest.
