Lithuania will experience a rise in spring temperatures following a cooler week, with highs reaching up to 16°C early next week, the country’s hydrometeorological service reports.

According to Edita Gečaitė, a forecaster at Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service, temperatures will climb to 14°C over the weekend, with the warmest conditions expected in the Žemaitija region and along the coast. Rain is possible in some areas, particularly in the east, but skies will clear in western Lithuania by Sunday.

Nighttime temperatures will range from -4°C to 1°C early Saturday, warming to between -3°C and 2°C by Sunday. Daytime highs will reach 8–13°C on Saturday and 9–14°C on Sunday, with moderate winds from the north and northeast.

The new week will bring clearer skies and even warmer conditions. Monday’s temperatures will peak at 10–15°C, while Tuesday could see highs of 11–16°C, though some eastern regions may experience brief showers. Winds will remain light to moderate.
