Infant with injuries admitted to Kaunas Clinics

A newborn baby with suspected injuries has been transferred to Kaunas Clinics for treatment, police reported on Sunday.

The infant, born this year, was admitted to the hospital at 14:45 after being transported from Marijampolė Hospital, where the child had earlier arrived from a private residence. Authorities are gathering evidence to clarify the circumstances surrounding possible physical harm or health impairment.

An investigation into the case is ongoing.
