Lithuania’s state broadcaster LRT reports that heavy rain and strong winds will sweep across the country on Monday and Tuesday, with drier conditions forecast from Wednesday.

According to Vytautas Patašius, a synoptic meteorologist at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, scattered showers are expected on Monday morning, with temperatures ranging from 3°C to 6°C. Throughout the day, wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are forecast in many regions, accompanied by rain, sleet, and possible thunderstorms. Daytime highs will reach 5–10°C.

On Tuesday, intermittent rain and sleet will continue, with wind gusts of 15–18 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 0–4°C, while daytime highs will range from 3°C to 8°C.

Rainfall is still expected on Tuesday night, but the cyclone will gradually weaken. By Wednesday, significant precipitation should cease, leading to drier conditions on Thursday and Friday, though nighttime frosts remain possible.
