The Easter holiday weekend in Lithuania will see changeable weather as a cyclone moves in and out of the region, according to Ineta Daunoravičiūtė, a synoptics specialist at Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT Radio.

Cloud cover will increase on Friday, with skies clearing by evening. Scattered, light showers are expected in the afternoon, primarily in western regions, accompanied by strong westerly winds reaching 8–13 m/s. Temperatures will range from 8–13°C inland to 3–7°C near the coast.

Saturday will bring widespread rain and windy conditions, with temperatures between 5–10°C. The cyclone will begin to retreat on Easter Sunday, leading to drier weather, though western areas may see evening showers. Daytime highs will reach 9–14°C.

On Easter Monday, the cyclone’s return will bring further rainfall, with temperatures dropping to 5–8°C.
