Lithuania to see patchy rain and temperatures up to 13°C at week’s start
Lithuania will experience scattered showers and mild spring temperatures early this week, with thermometers reaching up to 13°C in some areas, according to a forecast by the country’s Hydrometeorological Service reported by LRT.
On Monday, cloud cover will increase, with light rain expected in parts of eastern Lithuania. Winds will be variable at 3–8 m/s, and temperatures will range from 5–13°C, though some regions may see only 5–7°C.
Monday night into Tuesday will bring cooler conditions, with northern areas dropping to 1°C below freezing and most regions hovering around 4°C. Daytime highs on Tuesday will reach 7–12°C, though the Curonian Spit will remain cooler at around 5°C.
Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly dry, with light winds and overnight lows between 1°C and 4°C. Daytime temperatures will climb to 9–14°C inland, while coastal areas stay cooler at 5–8°C.
Friday may see brief showers in some areas, with weak winds and temperatures again peaking at 9–14°C inland and 5–8°C near the coast.
