Lithuania to see pleasant spring weather this weekend with temperatures up to 16°C

Lithuania can expect dry and sunny weather this weekend, with temperatures reaching as high as 16°C in some areas, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological Service.

Forecaster Paulius Starkus told LRT Radio that Friday will start cloudy but skies will clear later in the day, bringing more sunshine. No rain is expected, with winds blowing from the west and northwest at moderate strength. Daytime temperatures will rise to 9–14°C, though western regions will see slightly cooler conditions of 5–8°C.

Saturday will bring mostly clear skies, with overnight lows of 0 to –5°C and daytime highs of 11–16°C across most of the country. Western areas will remain cooler, at around 6–10°C.

Sunday will see increasing cloud cover and light winds, with overnight temperatures again between 0 and –5°C. Daytime highs will reach 11–16°C, though western Lithuania will stay slightly cooler.
