Vilnius police investigate two separate assaults on minors

Vilnius police have launched pre-trial investigations into two separate incidents of alleged violence against minors, both occurring on the same day, LRT reports.

In the first case, a minor born in 2012 is suspected of causing physical pain to a minor girl born in 2014 at approximately 7:45 AM. Authorities have gathered evidence for the pre-trial investigation.

Later the same day, at around 11:44 AM, another incident took place in which a minor allegedly used physical force against a peer, also born in 2014. Police have initiated a pre-trial investigation into charges of causing physical pain or minor health impairment.

The cases are being handled by the Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat.
