Tuesday to bring sunshine, but rain expected by Wednesday

Lithuania will enjoy sunny weather on Tuesday, but rain is forecast to arrive by Wednesday, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Ineta Daunoravičiūtė, a meteorologist with the service, said Tuesday will be partly cloudy with strengthening south-westerly winds of 6–11 m/s. Daytime temperatures are expected to range between 10°C and 15°C. By Wednesday night, a cyclone is expected to bring rain in some areas, with night-time temperatures falling to between 1°C and 6°C. The sky is forecast to become fully overcast during the day, with rain likely in places. Winds will increase to 9–14 m/s, and daytime temperatures will reach 11°C to 16°C.
