Sunny and warm weekend ahead despite Friday night rain

Lithuania will enjoy sunny and warm weather this weekend despite overnight rain on Friday, according to the country’s hydrometeorological service.

Paulius Starkus, a forecaster at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, told LRT Radio that showers will clear by Saturday, with temperatures reaching 7–11°C during the day. Some areas may still see light rain early Friday morning, but skies will clear as the day progresses.

Saturday will be dry, with scattered clouds and patchy fog in places. Nighttime lows will range from –5°C to 0°C, while daytime highs will climb to 8–13°C. Sunday’s conditions will be similar, with mostly clear skies and no precipitation. Overnight temperatures will hover between –4°C and 0°C, with daytime highs of 9–14°C.

The warm, dry trend is expected to continue into early next week, with Monday and Tuesday remaining mostly rain-free. Daytime temperatures could peak at 15°C.
