Lithuania to see brief rain and temperatures rising to 12°C
Parts of Lithuania will experience short spells of rain on Thursday, with temperatures climbing to 12°C, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT.
Synoptist Janas Vaitkevičius told LRT Radio that lingering morning fog will persist in many areas, while northwestern regions may see brief rainfall in the evening. Winds will remain light, with daytime highs reaching 7–12°C inland, though coastal areas will stay cooler at around 5°C.
On Friday, a weather front will bring widespread rain, transitioning to scattered showers and possible drizzle during the day. Winds will strengthen slightly to 6–11 m/s, with overnight lows of 0–4°C and daytime highs of 6–11°C.
Saturday will see patchy fog and possible ground frost in places, but no rain is expected. Temperatures will rise to 8–14°C during the day. Similar conditions will continue through Sunday and Monday, with Monday’s highs reaching 10–15°C.
