Police search for man after tear gas attack and document theft at Vilnius bank

A man sprayed tear gas inside a bank branch in Vilnius on Thursday evening and stole documents before fleeing, prompting a large-scale police operation, Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) reports.

The incident occurred around 5 p.m. local time at an Artea bank branch on Žemynos Street in the Pašilaičiai district. Police confirmed no injuries were reported, though the suspect remains at large. Officers are conducting searches in nearby areas.
