Father’s Day show takes president to rally track and football pitch

President Ülle Madis will visit communities in Mulgimaa for a Father’s Day programme featuring rally driving, football and other activities, ERR reports.

In the villages of Raasilla, Holstre and Mustla, Madis will visit a rally track, a football pitch, a band rehearsal, a forest hike and a historic sword-fighting event. She will take part in the activities, including getting into a rally car and playing football with fathers and boys.

The programme highlights how people of different generations take part in community life in Mulgimaa’s small villages and pass traditions from fathers to children. The president’s Father’s Day greeting will be shown on ETV2 on Sunday with Estonian sign language interpretation, and will also be broadcast on ETV+.

Father’s Day with the President of the Republic in Mulgimaa will air on ETV on Sunday at 20:30.
