ITL president to discuss AI and tech-sector layoffs on ETV

Estonian Information Technology and Telecommunications Association president Ats Albre will discuss artificial intelligence and layoffs in the technology sector on ETV’s “Esimene stuudio” programme on Tuesday, ERR reports.

The sector has been hit by a wave of layoffs as artificial intelligence takes on more work. The programme will examine which jobs AI could replace, what this means for the success of Estonia’s IT sector, and how AI could be put to better use in the Estonian economy.

Presenter Liisu Lass will interview Albre. The programme starts at 21:40 on ETV. Mirjam Mäekivi is the editor.
