Professor Vytautas Landsbergis, the first leader of restored independent Lithuania, will remain at Santaros Clinics hospital for further observation and is in stable condition, his son told LRT.
“There is nothing much new or special. Everything is fine,” Vytautas V. Landsbergis told the news agency ELTA.
LRT reported last week that Landsbergis had been admitted to Santaros Clinics for tests. He turned 94 on October 18.
He last needed medical care in April, when he underwent two operations because of impaired vision. He was also admitted to Santaros Clinics last autumn.
