Thursday temperatures could reach 12 degrees in Estonia

Temperatures in Estonia could reach 12 degrees on Thursday, with light rain showers spreading from the west to inland areas, ERR reports.

A low-pressure trough moving in from the Baltic Sea will push back a high-pressure system. Rain is expected in western Estonia overnight and may spread farther inland during the day, though showers in the east will be sparse and light.

Overnight temperatures will range from 2 to 8 degrees, reaching up to 11 degrees on the coast. In the morning, temperatures will be 3 to 8 degrees inland and up to 10 degrees along the coast. Daytime highs will reach 8 to 12 degrees. Winds will be light inland and stronger on the coast.

Rain is expected on Friday. The weekend will be cloudy, but is not forecast to bring significant precipitation. Heavier rain is expected on Monday. Nighttime temperatures will fall close to zero, while daytime highs will initially remain slightly above 10 degrees. It will get colder over the weekend, and the first snowflakes may appear as the new week progresses.
