Koit Toome says Eesti Laul hosting will test him

Koit Toome says hosting the Eesti Laul final will take him outside his comfort zone, ERR reported, as he has no experience presenting live to such a large audience.

Speaking on Raadio 2’s R2 Hommik! programme, Toome said hosting was very different from performing music, which he has done since childhood. He expects to work from prepared scripts as well as improvise, and plans to watch last year’s final again before the show.

Toome will host the music competition’s final with Ines, whom he described as highly experienced. He said they might perform a song together as an interlude, but they have three months to decide. The two have never sung a duet or toured together.

Toome is also preparing for a busy December, when he and Karl-Erik Taukar will begin a nationwide Christmas tour of 12 concerts.
