Rita Ray reaches Eesti Laul final with “Don’t You Agree”

Rita Ray has reached the Eesti Laul final with her song “Don’t You Agree” and says she is overwhelmed with gratitude, ERR reported.

Speaking to ERR’s programme Ringvaade outside a gym, Ray said she had never submitted a song to Eesti Laul before, except when she took part with Bianca in 2015. She said this time felt right and she had a suitable song.

“I’m completely shocked. First, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude, and second, now I have to get to work very quickly,” Ray said.

Ray said she had not been thinking about Eesti Laul when she wrote “Don’t You Agree”. Her songs had previously been too long for the contest’s three-minute limit, she said, often running longer than seven minutes.

The music for “Don’t You Agree” was written by Kristi Raias, Johannes Laas, Robine Koerts and Eric Timmann. Raias wrote the lyrics.
