Liberals nominate Tomas Gailius for Raseiniai district mayor

The Raseiniai Liberal team has nominated Tomas Gailius as its candidate for mayor of Raseiniai district municipality in the 2027 elections, LRT reports, citing a post on his Facebook account.

Gailius said he saw the nomination as a responsibility to the team that trusted him and to residents he would meet. He said he wanted to listen to people in local administrative units, hear about specific problems and discuss practical solutions before the election.

“Our goal as a team is not to make ill-considered promises, but to clearly set out a plan and stick to it,” he wrote.

Municipal elections are due to take place in March 2027.
