ERR to stream panel on whether talent is a gift or duty
ERR will livestream a discussion on whether talent is a gift or a duty from the foyer of the EMTA teaching building on October 22, the broadcaster reported. The panel is part of Müriaadfest, a festival.
The discussion will explore the nature, development and meaning of talent, including how it can become a source of self-fulfilment and contribute to the lives of others and society. Participants will consider whether talent is something people are born with or a responsibility to develop and share.
The panel will feature Linnar Looris, a ballet director, former ballet dancer and artistic director of the Estonian National Ballet; Halliki Põlda, a researcher in pedagogy, andragogue and lecturer at Tallinn University; Ene-Liis Semper, a video, performance and theatre artist and lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts; and composer Erkki-Sven Tüür. EMTA rector Ivari Ilja will moderate.
The livestream will run from 14:30 to 15:45 on ERR’s culture portal.
