Vilnius Liberal Movement names Aleksiūnaitė as election list leader

Vilnius’ Liberal Movement branch has ranked its candidates for the 2027 municipal council elections, with branch chair Ona Aleksiūnaitė leading the list, LRT reported.

The liberals say they want a team with ideas for the city and the resolve to put them into action. Their priorities include more efficient city management, stronger communities, easier transport and better conditions for living, creating and investing.

The party has nominated Simonas Gentvilas as its candidate for Vilnius mayor. The next municipal council and mayoral elections are scheduled for March 7, 2027.
