Lithuanian MP Dainoras Bradauskas is leaving the Nemuno aušra parliamentary group and the party, LRT reported. Parliament Speaker Juozas Olekas announced his decision during Tuesday’s plenary session. Bradauskas is joining the Mixed Group of Members of Parliament.

Nemuno aušra leader Remigijus Žemaitaitis said the departure was amicable and involved no disagreement. He told reporters that Bradauskas had left the party the previous week, adding that the decision was personal and could relate to family matters, politics or a choice not to run in future elections.

The Nemuno aušra parliamentary group had 18 members before Bradauskas left. MP Dainius Varnas also departed the group last October and joined the Democrats for Lithuania party.

Nemuno aušra was established in November 2023, with Žemaitaitis as its leader.
