Adamkus to continue treatment at Santaros Clinics

Former Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus’s health is improving, but doctors have decided he should continue treatment at Santaros Clinics, a hospital, LRT reported.

The hospital announced the decision in a statement to the media on Monday afternoon.

Adamkus was admitted to the hospital on September 26 after a sudden health problem, the presidential office said several weeks ago. After examinations, he underwent surgery, which was reported to have gone smoothly.
