Lithuania will stay mostly dry on Monday, with temperatures reaching 13C, but rain and warmer weather are expected later this week, LRT reported, citing forecaster Paulius Starkus of the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

High pressure will largely shape Monday’s weather, while a cyclone passes to the south, bringing more cloud to the southeast. The northwest will be mostly clear for much of the day. Significant rain is not expected, though a few drops may fall in the morning. Northeasterly winds will strengthen, and temperatures will range from 8C to 13C.

Similar conditions are expected overnight into Tuesday, with more cloud in the south and clearer skies in the north. Light rain is possible in some places, most likely in the south. Northeasterly winds will remain moderate. Temperatures will fall to 2C to 7C, with frost possible at ground level in clearer northern districts.

On Tuesday, cloud cover will remain variable, with more cloud in the south than in the north. Moderate northeasterly winds are forecast, and temperatures will rise to 10C to 15C.

Temperatures are expected to reach 11C to 16C on Wednesday and locally 17C on Thursday. Overnight frost is not forecast. Winds will turn southeasterly and strengthen, becoming gustier during the day. Rain is expected in the southwest on Wednesday and more widely on Thursday.
