Man taken from Alytus prison after poisoning dies in hospital
Lithuania A man taken to hospital from Alytus Prison after being poisoned died on Thursday, LRT reported.
The Police Department said the man, born in 1985, died at Alytus Hospital at 1.30pm. He had been taken there from the Lithuanian Prison Service’s Alytus Prison and admitted on October 9 because of poisoning.
A pre-trial investigation has been opened to establish the cause of death.
