Estonian singer-songwriter Ingra has released her first full-length album, Edasi, featuring 10 songs in Estonian, ERR reported. She said the tracks were written over the past couple of years.

Ingra described the album as a cohesive whole with considerably less melancholy than her earlier work. She said the songs remained rich in meaning and contained observations about life that would stay with listeners after they had finished listening.

Musically, she said, she did not aim for a fully polished, heavily produced sound. Ingra added that the album carries some influence from the distinctive work of Vaiko Eplik, her favourite Estonian artist.

The album also features guitarist Johannes Laas, keyboardist Mikk Kaasik, bassist Peedu Kass and drummer Kristjan Kallas. Sten-Olle Moldau mixed it, and Hans Olsson mastered it. Johanna Adojaan designed the vinyl record, which was printed by Toss Records.
