The opening of the renovated Tallinn Art Hall, an exhibition venue, has been postponed to Dec. 4 from its planned date of Nov. 13, ERR reported, citing Äripäev.

The first exhibition, titled “The beginning of Estonian art and…”, is due to open on Dec. 4. Construction will continue after it opens. The schedule has changed partly because of archaeological excavations, Nordecon board member Tarmo Pohlak said.

Art Hall director Paul Aguraiuja said the builder had promised to complete all work by the end of the year. He said a three-week delay was not a concern for a project of this scale. The Kuku Club will remain in the building and also operate as a cafe-restaurant, run by Kairit Kerge and Carolin Aas.
