Scammers swindle Vilnius woman out of €12,500
Lithuania A woman in Vilnius lost €12,500 after scammers deceived her with a story about a parcel, LRT reported, citing the Police Department.
The woman, born in 1954, contacted police on Tuesday. She said she had communicated with an unknown person through Messenger and WhatsApp while at home in Vilnius on September 24 and 25.
Police have opened a pre-trial investigation into fraud.
