Ukraine Studio to examine air defence and cultural heritage

Colonel Fredi Karu and Ukraine’s Deputy Culture Minister Ivan Verbõtskõi will appear on ETV’s Ukraine Studio on Sunday, ERR reports.
Karu, chief of staff of the Estonian Air Force, will explain how Ukraine counters large-scale combined air attacks involving jet-powered drones and ballistic missiles. The programme follows several deadly Russian attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine this week.
Verbõtskõi will discuss the role of culture in sustaining Ukrainians during the war, efforts to protect the country’s cultural heritage, the removal of some monuments and the participation of athletes from aggressor states in international sporting events.
