Väino Puura surprises contestants on ETV music game show

Veteran singer Väino Puura made a surprise appearance on ETV’s new music game show, “Suur muusikamäng,” ERR reported. Puura, who turned 75 this year, was the programme’s first surprise guest.

The show uses surprise appearances to mark important anniversaries for well-known artists and groups. Puura said he stays energetic by cycling and continuing to sing. This autumn, he is appearing in the Vanemuine Theatre’s operetta “Silva” and taking part in a concert tour.

Puura has also attended concerts by Karl-Erik Taukar’s band and Terminaator, where his son Rene Puura plays in different bands. On the programme, Puura performed the Italian song “Come prima,” written by Vincenzo Di Paola, Sandro Taccani and Mario Panzeri.

“Suur muusikamäng” airs on ETV on Fridays at 20:00.
