Rain to continue across Lithuania into next week
Lithuania Rain is expected across much of Lithuania this weekend and on Monday, forecaster Elena Kliukina of the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service told LRT Radio.
Saturday will be cloudy, with some brighter spells possible in western districts. Rain is forecast in many areas. Southwesterly and southerly winds will reach 8 to 13 metres per second, with gusts of 15 to 18 metres per second on the coast. Daytime temperatures will range from 11 to 16 degrees Celsius.
Sunday will be calmer but still wet, with rain expected in many districts overnight and during the day. Southwesterly and southerly winds will blow at 6 to 11 metres per second. Temperatures will range from 6 to 11 degrees overnight, with warmer conditions on the coast, and reach 12 to 17 degrees during the day.
Rain will continue in places overnight on Monday and in many districts during the day. Southwesterly and westerly winds will reach 6 to 11 metres per second, and temperatures will remain similar. No significant precipitation is forecast from Tuesday.
