Estonian National Museum marks 10 years at Raadi with overnight event
The Estonian National Museum marked the 10th anniversary of opening its home at Raadi and launched its autumn season with an event on Saturday evening, ERR reported.
For one evening, the museum operated differently from usual. British artist Monster Chetwynd presented a two-hour performance connected to her exhibition “With Tails and Horns,” and the band Winny Puhh gave a concert. Special tours took visitors through exhibitions, the museum’s back rooms and its storage areas.
Tours were led by, among others, David Vseviov, Ülar Mark, Tiit Hennoste, Art Leete, Tõnis Lukas and Laura Kipper. DJs, including Kurbade Tüdrukute Klubi, Raul Saaremets and Erki Pruul, played music throughout the evening.
The museum’s building at Raadi opened on October 1, 2016.
