Musician Koit Toome drove about 6,500 kilometres through nine countries over two weeks and says he is ready to go again, ERR reported, citing an interview on its Ringvaade programme.

Toome said the long journey had not left him feeling tired. The trip ended in Tuscany, a region of Italy he counts among his favourites. Slovenia, which he had not visited before, was the biggest positive surprise, thanks to its mountains, lakes and scenery.

Road trips have appealed to Toome for years. In 1998, he and a friend spent five weeks travelling between the east and west coasts of the United States, visiting places including Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Route 66. Since then, he has tried to take a road trip every few years, saying he enjoys the freedom to go wherever he feels like.

Toome also visited the Ferrari Museum in Modena, where he saw cars from across the brand’s history. For his next road trip, he hopes to travel around the Gulf of Bothnia and said he would gather a few friends if others are interested.
