ERR seeks Virumaa correspondent as Rene Kundla leaves

Estonian public broadcaster ERR will seek a new correspondent for Virumaa after Rene Kundla leaves his post on October 31 because he is moving, ERR reported. The broadcaster plans to open a public recruitment process in the coming weeks.

Kundla said he had promised to stay for six years when he won the job a decade ago, and that the time for a change had long since come. He encouraged people to apply, noting that ERR staff with expertise in their fields are ready to help colleagues.

Joosep Värk, editor-in-chief of ERR’s news desk, thanked Kundla for ten years of covering life in Virumaa for the Aktuaalne Kaamera news programme, radio news and sports. Värk said applicants are welcome from both Ida-Virumaa and Lääne-Virumaa who care about life in their home region.
