Latvian Radio questions two candidates ahead of Saeima election

Latvian Radio’s Krustpunktā programme is questioning candidates from two parties ahead of Latvia’s 15th Saeima election, LSM reported.

Juris Pūce, the top candidate for Latvijas attīstībai in the Vidzeme electoral district, is appearing in the programme’s first part on Tuesday. Raivis Zeltīts, the top candidate for Austošā saule Latvijai in the Riga electoral district, is taking part in the second.

The election will be held on October 3, with 14 candidate lists submitted. Voters can cast their ballots at any polling station. Advance voting is available at polling stations on September 30 from 5pm to 8pm, October 1 from 8am to 11am, and October 2 from noon to 3pm.
