LSM asks voters what they think of Suverēnā vara and Jaunlatvieši

Latvian public broadcaster LTV has interviewed voters of the Suverēnā vara and Apvienība Jaunlatvieši political alliance about their choice ahead of the 15th Saeima elections, LSM reported.

The voters discussed why they supported the alliance four years ago, whether they still consider that choice correct and whether the political force has fulfilled its promises. They also spoke about their plans for this year’s election.

The LTV project also examines whether campaign posters and promises can influence voters shortly before an election, or whether voters assess parties and their leaders over a much longer period.

The alliance’s programme calls for not raising taxes for five years. An earlier article cited by LSM says the alliance supports not providing military assistance to Ukraine and leaving the euro area.

Suverēnā vara and Apvienība Jaunlatvieši will take part in LTV’s Partija fokusā programme at 20:40 on Tuesday. The programme will be broadcast live on LTV1, LSM.lv and REplay.lv.
